Beneath the streets of Edinburgh, Scotland there is a frightening underground world that was considered a fearful and superstitious place at the turn of the 18th century.
The Edinburgh vaults, also known as South Bridge Vaults are completely unique and so is the South Bridge that was believed to be cursed from the beginning. Even today, many believe these dark and frightening tunnels are haunted by a malevolent presence known as the South Bridge Entity.
Edinburgh’s legendary Underground City of the Dead is one of the most famous supernatural sites in Scotland.
The Edinburgh vaults have a dark and unpleasant history. When you enter the vaults you find yourself in a very cold place where the darkness is almost absolute. 2. Curse Of The Scottish Fyvie Castle That Survived Generations

This castle is located about 30 miles (50 km) north-west of Aberdeen, Scotland, and is known as the Fyvie Castle. It’s an ancient structure because its foundations were laid before the Norman Conquest in 1066. Since the 14th century, only five prominent families had been in possession of this haunted building.
An individual known as Thomas the Rhymer (c. 1220 – 1298) is related to the castle, but he is shrouded in myths, legends, and superstition. According to Peter of Langtoft’s early 14th century ‘Chronicle,’ Thomas was a poet who foretold prophecies.
His prophecies foretold only unfortunate events, disasters, confusion, and bloodshed. He traveled much and visited many landowners, but he was never welcomed.

3. Mystery Of The Bloody Island Poveglia – A Place Of Hell In Ancient And Modern Times

Over the course of history, this creepy island had a number of names. It has for example been called the bloody island, the island of madness, and the island of hell.
