A. Sutherland - AncientPages.com -The yew tree stands out as mysterious, sacred, and even a little ominous among the many trees that ancient cultures have revered since the earliest days of human civilization.
Like other sacred trees on our planet, the yew is also surrounded by fabulous stories that go back long in time. Ancient people regarded the yew tree as a portal leading to an unknown world.
