But before he became the god of poetry, he had to steal and consume the Mead of Poetry, also known as 'Mead of Inspiration', 'Kvasir’s Blood', 'Suttungr’s Mead' and 'Dwarfs’ Drink,' and "The Stirrer of Inspiration."
It was a magical potion, a source of unlimited knowledge, inspiration, and eloquence.
In Norse mythology, the so-called 'Precious Mead' was a magical beverage crafted by the two wicked dwarfs, Fjalar and Galarr, who made the sacred mead of poetry. This drink granted wisdom and the gift of successful, poetic ingenuity.
