Was The Tree Of Knowledge Perhaps The Hall Of Records? – A Mysterious Ancient Library Containing Forbidden Knowledge
Ellen Lloyd - AncientPages.com - There is no universal agreement regarding the interpretation of the Tree of Knowledge mentioned in the Bible. What was the Tree of Knowledge really?
Is it possible that the Tree of Knowledge was a mysterious ancient library filled with books that mortal humans were not allowed to read? Could the Tree of Knowledge and the Hall of Records be the same thing?
What Is The Tree Of The Knowledge Of Good And Evil?
The Tree of Knowledge was in the Garden and Eden and Adam and Eve were instructed not to touch and eat the fruit from the tree.
“16 The LORD God commanded the man, saying, "From any tree of the garden you may eat freely; 17 but from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat, for in the day that you eat from it you will surely die." 18 (Genesis 2:16-18).
It is the only plant which humans are forbidden to eat, because of the consequence of death.
Biblical scholars and historians have tried to explain why the fruit from the Tree of Knowledge was so dangerous to humans.
