We considered how distant civilizations described similar mechanical behaviors using comparable imagery. We also questioned why historical accounts reference iron shields, heavy chainmail, and other unfamiliar metallic sounds.

We reviewed a notable passage from The Anglo-Saxon Chronicle describing intense lightning and fiery dragons in flight, along with other ancient sources reporting similar sightings of flying dragons and unusual metallic sounds.

Part 3 will address the flight physics of antiquity and the biological impossibility of such creatures. We will also once again consider whether some ancient dragon sightings may have been misidentified as unidentified flying objects (UAP, Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena).
