Deciphered 2,200-Year-Old Rock Inscription Tells Of An Ancient Journey To The Mythical Land Of The Gods
Ellen Lloyd - AncientPages.com - Ancient myths and legends tell of a wonderful, hidden land located in a remote and nearly inaccessible mountain region. In these stories, this place is portrayed as the dwelling of gods and sacred animals, and as a unique natural environment where extraordinary plants and flowers grow, including the legendary Tree of Life and the fruit that grants longevity.
For centuries, people have searched for this mythical realm of the gods, said to be inhabited by marvellous creatures and occasionally visited by ancient kings and queens. However, such accounts have long been considered purely mythological, with no confirmed basis in historical reality.
Recently, though, an important archaeological find has offered new insight into these traditions. Archaeologists working in a remote mountain area discovered a 2,200-year-old rock inscription. After careful decipherment, this inscription reveals information connecting historical events to long-standing myths about the land of the gods, suggesting that these legends may have roots in real places and experiences from the distant past.
