Evidence Of Advanced Military Robots In The Ancient World – Unknown High-Tech Examined
Ellen Lloyd - AncientPages.com - The modern world is becoming more and more familiar with the use of robots that are put to work in several fields. Industrial robots have been around for some years now and soon we may get used to having humanoid robots helping us performing various household tasks like cleaning, washing, and more.
Currently, the most advanced humanoid robot is Asimo developed by Honda. Asimo can walk, climb stairs, dance, recognize moving objects, and more. Though the production of Asimo ceased in 2018 we can be fairly certain similar sophisticated humanoid robots will appear on the market soon. Many argue we should be careful before engaging in the use of highly advanced robotic humanoids as these machines come with both benefits and risks.
Tough our knowledge of artificial intelligence and robotics is increasing every day, our society should be aware that our ancestors possessed excellent knowledge of advanced robots that existed long before the modern world re-discovered this technology.
As previously mentioned in one of our articles, “in ancient China we come across a number of highly advanced robots that could sing, dance, act as servants and perform many other surprising tasks.
Some of these remarkable robots are even said to have possessed life-like organs such as bones, muscles, joints, skin, and hair. It’s quite remarkable considering it is only recently our modern civilization has started to develop human-like robots.
There is no doubt mechanical engineering in ancient China reached a very high level.” 1
However, the ancient Chinese were not the only ones to experiment with advanced humanoid robots. We have found evidence several ancient civilizations used ancient robots engaging in warfare as well as protection of their cities. If we examine ancient documents, myths legends, and structures, we can clearly see other ancient civilizations deliberately constructed technologically advanced machines for military purposes.
Let us now explore this interesting subject so we can once again confirm our ancestors were more advanced than previously thought.
