Some of the things he experienced were caused by his own irresponsible actions, but not everything was his fault.
Never did he think he would one day end up in a horrible place where he saw the end was coming sooner than he expected. What later happened was a mystery, as much to himself as to others. Was the sight a product of his vivid imagination or something much more profound?
