Mystery Of The Ancient Unknown Mining Civilization In North America – Puzzling Archaeological Discoveries – Part 1
Ellen Lloyd - AncientPages.com - Was there once in the distant past an unknown mining civilization in North America? This is a question few can answer without admitting no-one knows the truth. History is silent on the subject. There are no known records mentioning such an ancient culture by name.
Native American legends have a few stories that may shed some light on this ancient mystery. Still, the clue to this riddle lies in archaeological discoveries that offer evidence mining may have been practiced by an unknown ancient culture we know nothing about.
There seems to be little evidence that Native Americans mined or used lead. However, it has been confirmed that lead was widely used during the Bronze Age in Babylonia, Egypt, Greece, and other parts of Europe.
Yet, there are ruins of ancient lead and copper mines in North America, and ancient, curious artifacts made of a metal unknown to Native Americans have been unearthed by archaeologists.
