In Medieval England, markets typically took place on a weekly basis.
These marketplaces were excellent opportunities for buying and selling goods, and they also functioned as social hubs where people could interact with one another. It was common knowledge that there were special trading rules that everyone had to follow, and breaking the law was not advisable.
