Prince Wenceslaus Of Bohemia Was Murdered On Order Of His Own Brother
A. Sutherland - AncientPages.com - Many legends, including the "First Old Slavonic Legend" that originated in the tenth century, described the life and martyrdom of Wenceslaus, the Duke of Bohemia, whose name means 'great glory' (or 'praised with glory') in Slavic.
This century was not an ordinary time for the people, and historians often reflect on the 10th century (c. 900–999 AD) as a time of significant turbulence, shaped by a complex interplay of severe environmental catastrophes, political disagreements, and conflicts.
